<Universality of misfortune>
Set in Times Square, New York, a symbolic place where people of diverse races and backgrounds gather, this work explores the universality of misfortune and hardship, reflecting on it through my own experience. It considers misfortune not as a problem confined to the individual, but as something that can come to anyone at any time. In this sense, the work discusses the universality of suffering.
뉴욕 타임스퀘어라는 상징적이고 다양한 인종과 배경을 가진 사람들이 모이는 장소에서 불행과 시련의 보편성을 탐구하고, 나의 경험을 통해 이를 성찰하는 것을 목표로 한다. 불행은 개인만의 문제로 국한되지 않고, 누구에게든 언제든지 다가올 수 있다는 것 즉 불행의 보편성에 대해 논한 작업이다.
